Description

Two player Stratego type game, pitting the forces of good and evil against each other in an abstracted version of Middle Earth. Each side has Nine pieces on with varying abilities and a set of nine cards with which to battle. Can Frodo make it to Mount Doom and so destroy the One Ring? or will the Dark Lord prevail?

This is a nice filler for two players with a little spare time on their hands. (Dave D)

This game has a nice feel. If I care to think back over a game I can remember how well each of my characters fared. In the games I have played the results have not been closed, I have suffered a runaway defeat or enjoyed a runaway victory. Once two players are familiar with each others play the game becomes more of a game of bluff than a game of strategy, which I enjoy.(Gordon)
