Description

Co-operation game based on Tolkien's classic trilogy. The players take the part of the hobbits who must take the ring to Mordor to destroy it in the Crack of Doom, without falling prey to the corruption that the ring brings. Two expansions add features, with the second adding the chance for one of the players to represent the Dark Lord

Comments

An unusual game in that there is no competition between the players, without optional rules. Dave C has described it as more an experience than a game and I see what he means. It is also a difficult game to play and in our experience the best chance  of victory lies in defeating all the foes (from the Friends and Foes Expansion). Despite this it is a very good way to while away a couple of hours.
