I never saw the appeal of the original Carcasonne, thinking it an
OK game but nothing special, something that I would play if there was no other
option. This new version is supposedly new and improved, but seems to be
the same game with new bells and whistles, retaining the same appeal of the
original. The first game I played I was well behind everyone, but the lucky
draw of one particular tile enable me to come from behind and win.
