Description

As pharaohs of Ancient Egypt, players compete to build the most pyramids. To do this they need to acquire desirable provinces, both as building land and as a source of income to provide the wealth necessary for the great projects.

Great game by Reiner Knizia. I've always been a bit sceptical by the adulation Knizia receives, since many of his games seem to rely on  a single mechanism or combination pf mechanism, which although undeniably clever don't, really make a good game. This one howver is superb.(Dave D)

Nicely presented Reiner Knizia bidding game. My initial impressions are that this is as playable as Ra and I adore Ra. (Gordon)
